Welcome

Are you feeling overwhelmed? Are you stuck and can’t figure out how to move forward. Do your relationships leave you feeling drained and confused? Does it feel like no matter how hard you work or how much energy you put into relationships, they don’t get better. Are you yearning for more peace and ease?

It sounds like you have a lot of empathy and compassion for everyone but yourself and it's leaving you exhausted. Learning how to listen for what you need and setting limits is essential in avoiding burnout and creating peace and ease in your life.

Let's look at where your coping skills come from and how they have carried you through your challenges up until now. Let's examine with curiosity and kindness why those skills aren’t working anymore. Let's collaborate to find a new way of being to create empowerment and clarity going forward.

Hello

As an AMFT and APCC, I incorporate several different theories while collaborating with my clients to feel into what resonates with them. I work with the mind-body connection and I believe understanding  some of the neurobiology along with early childhood attachment helps gain awareness into the signals your body is giving you. That understanding can then be used in the practice of attunement and discernment.

I’m a trained EMDR therapist and recieved my Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University Malibu Campus. I was an older student and went back to school after being a Licensed Massage Therapist for 15 years as well as a documentary film maker which took me to remote and culturally diverse parts of the world.

These experiences inform my work by connecting me to how each individual is unique in every way and knows themselves, mind and body, better than I do. I view my work as creating a space where my client can get to know themselves better and in so doing, align with their goals in a healthy way, mentally and physically.
